About Spooner Farms
Spooner Berry Farms has been family owned for forty years. Tim, a second-generation farmer, worked with his father, Ken Spooner, for many years on their Puyallup, Washington, farm. Tim and his wife Sue have been working together for over thirty years – their passion is growing the sweetest, freshest berries possible and delivering these promptly to customers, at an affordable price.
Sue handles the retail operations, running twelve berry barns and supervising crew members, who have become like family. The Spooner crew picks seven days a week; the berries move from field to berry barn in hours and are sold the day they are picked.
