Concorde pears have smooth green-yellow skin with patches of red blushing and white-ivory flesh that is dense and firm. They have a large, round base that tapers into a long narrow and pointed neck. When ripe, Concorde pears may still have a somewhat firm consistency and are aromatic, juicy, and sweet with floral notes and hints of vanilla.
