About Oregon Fruit Company
Oregon Fruit has been family-owned since its founding by the Gehlar family in 1935. In 2011, the Maletis family took the reins. Ed and Cyndy Maletis and their three sons, Andy, Bryan, and John, have deep ties to Oregon and are committed to building a legacy of caring about the community and people they work with.
They serve and inspire those who want more than just a bland peach or a lifeless cherry—those who crave fruit bursting with the honesty of the earth it came from. From eccentric chefs and renegade bartenders to midnight bakers and sunrise pancake makers, their goal is to provide the highest quality real fruit ingredients to help bring creative ideas to life. They’re highly selective about the fruit they source. Their growers know they only accept the best—and that they’re willing to pay for it. The literal cream of the crop is set aside so customers always get fruit that looks and tastes exceptional.
