About Montecucco Farms

Montecucco Farms is a fourth-generation family farm nestled along the Willamette River in Canby, Oregon. Run by brothers Brian and Jason Montecucco, the 500-acre farm has deep roots that trace back to their great-grandfather Giuseppe, who began farming in Portland’s Parkrose neighborhood after immigrating from Italy in the early 1920s.

Since 1926, the Montecucco family has been growing fresh vegetables for local markets—evolving with the times while honoring their agricultural heritage. Today, the farm produces a variety of crops including rhubarb, beans, beets, parsnips, rutabagas, and turnips, with red beets leading the charge as their most abundant harvest. Specialty beet varieties like golden and candy-striped continue to gain popularity as the farm expands its offerings. Montecucco Farms is a legacy in motion—rooted in tradition, powered by progress.
