Twin Brook Creamery raises purebred registered Jersey cows. Jerseys
produce milk with a higher protein and butterfat content, greatly
enhancing the flavor. Their chocolate milk has an incredibly rich,
smooth and sweet taste. The chocolate is between a light and very
dark chocolate taste. The cream will float naturally to the top as it
is not homogenized.
Twin Brooks does not use commercial fertilizer or pesticides on our
grass fields or pastures, so the feeds that they eat are as close to
natural as we can provide them. And, they do not use synthetic
hormones (such as RBST) that artificially stimulate growth or milk
production, allowing the cows to have a happy, healthy life and the
most natural milk a cow can produce.
